We have teamed up with designer and illustrator Bobbi Rae to present a FREE Life Drawing Workshop!

The workshop will consist of a traditional life drawing class, with a female nude life model. We will work through a series of timed poses, with guidance on drawing techniques and materials to use.

We’ll also be talking about  the representation of the nude and women in the arts, and encouraging everyone to take part in the discussion. This workshop is suitable for all levels of drawing and beginners are welcome.

Saturday 11th April

2pm – 4pm

(doors from 1.30pm)

All drawing materials and refreshments provided.

Drawing Club Studio, 2nd Floor, 232 Meanwood Road, Leeds LS7 2AH. (free on street parking is available)

This is free workshop, and we have a limited number of spaces for attendees.  Please only book this workshop if you intend to 100% attend! If at any point after booking, you can no longer attend, please send us an email so we can reallocate your ticket to the next person on the waiting list.

This workshop is part of the TAKING UP SPACE project, a mixed media, multi-disciplinary project, culminating in a multi sensory, eye tickling exhibition by designer, illustrator and MA graduate Bobbi Rae.

The TAKING UP SPACE project aims to empower women by teaching practical skills as well as providing a platform to talk about – and to promote – ways in which women are working together to counter the disproportionate representation of our male peers in our workspaces.

Life Drawing Workshop is one of a series of free creative workshops open to the public, and led by Leeds based creative practitioners.
